At this year’s Sheffield Doc/Fest we caught up with Stanley Nelson, multiple Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker and director of the new film ‘Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution’. The film chronicles the rise and fall of the Black Panther Party, originally founded in 1966 in Oakland, California, and features firs-thand accounts from prominent members of the organisation.

Cassie Quarless

Cassie Quarless is a producer/director with a background in comedy and documentary. He is a co-director of 'Generation Revolution', a feature-length documentary film about young black and brown activists in London.
