Anna Alomes

Anna Alomes is a British-born Australian philosopher who works on nonviolence, conflict reduction and peacebuilding projects internationally, including with Nobel Peace Laureates HH the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. She was formerly the Director of the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Ethics at the University of Tasmania, Australia for 5 years. She is a founding member of the Global Gandhian Movement for Swaraj and has two books on nonviolence with forewords by HH the Dalai Lama due for release in 2012.
